WELCOME!

on this website you will (soon!) find various things that i love and that define me. i've grown increasingly critical and tired of social media, specifically the mentality that it cultivates.

i know a lot of people here dislike how social media has sanitized our personal websites and style - forcing us into cookie cutter boxes with the same generic headers and footers instead of more intricate and personalized online spaces. and while i do hate how so much creativity has been stifled, i'm more concerned with the sanitization of how we present ourselves online as well.

it's hard to be yourself online and create a space that's just for you anymore. online spaces have become so promotional and performative that it's even hard to tell who's a real activist! so many people either support movements to be cool, or they whittle themselves down into nothing.

that's what i've been doing for the past several years - minimizing my personality for the sake of my online following. i want a place where i can breathe again. where i can be creative; where i can be myself.

i'm hoping that's what this website will be for me, and hopefully you find some inspiration or insight from my corner of the web too!
